General Description:

Employees in this class provide valuable insights to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the operation. In addition, they provide management with an in-depth analysis and requested support needed for developing effective strategies. This position requires the ability to problem solve, collect, and analyze information against established criteria. Work is performed under administrative supervision. Assignments require knowledge and application of processes and keen analytic thinking by accepted standards. Mathematical computation and data entry tasks are mandatory. Requires walking assigned areas to perform studies and working outside in all weather conditions.


Principal Duties

 

  • Conducts ongoing surveys citywide for regulations and parking (trends) patterns.

  • Discussions with community groups, business leaders, and elected officials concerning policies, requests, and other operational-related matters.

  • Preparation of final parking plans and legislation, where necessary

  • Preparation of work orders

  • Conduct varied mathematical computations.

  • Development of forms, files, records, and reports

  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend strategies to optimize operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advance computers skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Must handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Minimum Acceptable Training, Experience, and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Selection Process:

  • 50% - Assessment Test, (Computerized)
  • 30% - Oral Interview,
  • 10% - Attendance,
