General Description:

This position is Temporary!

Applicants Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of applying.


Environmental /Landscaping Upkeep: Operate power mowers, weed whackers, and blowers to maintain the ground of assigned properties.

General Maintenance Assistance: Provide support to the Facilities Maintenance Department by performing other related duties as assigned. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and materials
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Ability to work 2:00 PM – 10:00PM Shift; up to 28-hours per week
  • Ability to commute to 6801 Essington Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19153

Minimum Acceptable Training, Experience, and Education:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Schedule: Part-Time, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including one-hour unpaid lunch break (not to exceed 28 hours per week).
