BA in human resources, business administration or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the human resources field or 8 years of direct work experience. Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of benefit plan designs and administration. Responsible for performing human resources related duties on a professional level. Experience and knowledge of personnel ordinances, rules, and regulations. Knowledge of employee benefits, compensation, risk management, and safety practices. Considerable knowledge of modern policies and practices in human resources administration and personnel law. Maintain an effective rapport with the public and staff. Ability to use discretion in analyzing situations.
HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST: Under the supervision of the Senior HR Officer, the HR Generalist, or Human Resource Generalist, is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Their duties include handling all benefits for the company, comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents, and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees.

This is a non-exempt position. The employee must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as judgment, tact, and diplomacy in contacts with YDI employees, community residents, parents, and local government agencies. Strict adherence is required to all regulations concerning confidentiality, including HIPPA requirements. Background check to include fingerprinting will be required. A physical is required upon hire and may be required intermittently. Travel may also be required. Proof of satisfactory car insurance must be provided.
