POSITION SUMMARY:

WC Smith has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Albemarle Apartments. This position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations at the community, ensuring the timely completion of maintenance tickets, and providing excellent customer service.

 

This role will require being on-call for after-hours emergencies every other weekend.  


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•           Oversee the maintenance technician

•           Manage supplies and order inventory as needed

•           Partner with vendors, including but not limited to exterminators

•           Complete work orders and maintenance tickets in a timely manner

•           Conduct routine preventative maintenance

•           Perform plumbing repairs, including drain cleaning 

•           Troubleshoot and maintain line-voltage convectors and two-pipe HVAC systems

•           Repair and maintain appliances, including garbage disposal replacement

•           Complete minor drywall repairs and touch-up painting as needed

•           Perform minor electrical work, including replacing light fixtures and electrical receptacles

•           Provide excellent customer service while responding to resident maintenance requests



REQUIREMENTS:
•           High school diploma, or equivalent, is required

•           At least four years of experience in maintenance

•           Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor, or in a similar leadership role

•           Must have a valid driver's license

•           Must have a valid driver's license

•           Prior plumbing experience, with knowledge of how to use K-50

•           Previous experience with line-voltage convectors and two-pipe HVAC systems 

•           High degree of energy and motivation

•           Outstanding customer service orientation
