POSITION SUMMARY:
WC Smith is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our teams at Archer Park Apartments. This individual is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to residents and guests. In this position, the Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for assisting the management office with administrative and maintenance tasks in accordance with the goals, policies and procedures.

The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Using a multi-line telephone, answers and appropriately routes all incoming calls.
  • Greets all residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. 
  • Provides general information regarding property functions and responds to routine inquiries regarding the property and contact information.
  • Takes telephone messages for staff when requested.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  • Receives and logs incoming packages and certified mail.
  • Issues packages to residents. 
  • Responsible for general maintenance of reception area.
  • Walking the property for safety and security precautions.
  • Light cleaning when needed.
  • Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to fair housing, equal employment and racial/ethnic diversity policies at all times.
  • Assists the Community Manager to organize and administer special events, as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred. 
  • At least two years of experience as a front desk coordinator or concierge in residential or hospitality. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel software).
  • Prior experience with Yardi is preferred but not required. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to work under limited supervision while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and production.
  • Superb customer service orientation and effective oral and written communication skills, along with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background screen including credit and criminal and maintain a record that satisfies these requirements.
