POSITION SUMMARY:
WC Smith has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Leasing Consultant (Spanish) to join The Dahlia Apartments in Northwest, DC. As a Leasing Consultant, you will maintain a high level of customer service and have excellent communication skills. The Leasing Consultant position requires significant interaction with residents and prospective tenants on a regular basis.

This is a Part-time position at approximately 28 hours per week. The schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday, from 9:00am-5:00pm, but can be flexible.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to phone inquiries and provide rental information.
Greets prospects and obtains information for leasing purposes.
Conducts tours for available units with prospects. 
Prepare and process rental applications and lease packages for review and approval by the manage.
Enter data pertaining to potential residents into the computer. 
Communicates effectively with residents, resolving issues at the property to the extent possible.
Performs regular property inspections to ensure that property is maintained at all times in a manner consistent with WC Smith standards.
Schedules and coordinates all work performed by contractors.
Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to fair housing policies at all times.

 REQUIRMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent desired.
At least six months' experience in residential leasing.
Outstanding customer service orientation.
Spanish speaking is required. 
Superb communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel software).
Prior experience using Yardi is required. 
Lease-up experience a plus.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
High degree of energy and motivation.
