POSITION SUMMARY:
WC Smith has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager (Maintenance) of 2801 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20020. This Site Manager (Maintenace) must be able to live at the property. This individual is responsible for the successful execution of maintenance tickets and addressing resident maintenance concerns. Our maintenance professionals are passionate about providing high quality service to residents and are critical in maintaining our properties to the highest standard. As an ideal candidate, you should be excited about working with your hands, learning how things work, and providing exceptional service to promote resident satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Manages the day-to-day maintenance for 2801 Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
•  Completes work tickets in a timely manner. 
•  Provides a high level of customer service to residents.
•  Addresses all resident questions and concerns.  
Completes preventative maintenance schedules of equipment and operating systems.
•  Maintains the inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
•  Keeps public areas in a clean and orderly condition.
•  Tours available units with prospective residents.
Assists in readying vacant apartments for leasing.
•  Assists in grounds keeping and snow removal at the property as needed.
•  Assumes responsibility for after-hour emergencies (on-call).

REQUIRMENTS:

Minimum of two years’ experience in residential property maintenance, preferred.
•  Must be able to live on-site. A one-bedroom apartment is provided.
•  Must be available for on-call emergencies.
•  Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance and repair and the tools and equipment used in performing it.
•  Knowledge of maintenance in the following areas, as required: appliances, plumbing, electricity, locks, carpentry, painting, fire alarm panels, landscaping and plant care.
•  Previous experience Yardi is preferred.
•  High school diploma or equivalent desired.
•  Ability to work on-call with flexible schedule, including occasional evening and weekends.
