Quality Assurance Associate I

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary:
Under direct guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting with all quality and operational tasks assigned. The ideal candidate will represent the Quality Assurance department professionally across various departments of all Unical Affiliate companies performing any and all assigned Quality Assurance functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with Internal and External audits as needed, to ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulations, and standards.
• Assist with investigating non-conformance root causes resulting from, but not limited to, internal and external audits, procured product non-conformances, procedural non-conformances, warranty investigations, customer inquiries, as well as issue corrective and/or preventive actions, as directed.
• Assist with review and general upkeep of Quality Management System, documents, procedures and Forms on an as-needed basis for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in maintaining quality functions, training records and technical publications.
• Assist in special projects as required.
• Assist in evaluating vendor and customer risk assessment and quality performance indicators.
• Assist in managing quality documents and records throughout the entire Records Archive Management process, as required.
• Any other tasks as required by the Quality Assurance Manager or head of Quality.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize various tasks and manage accordingly.
• Able to assist and develop knowledge within a team environment aiding the Quality Assurance and Customer Service teams, as well as Warehouse Operations and Commercial teams.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines as set by management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AS9100/ISO9001 Auditor Experience.
• Basic knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Warehouse Operations experience.
Travel:
• No travel required.
Language:
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical Demands:
• Work Environment: 80% office; 20% Warehouse Floor
Working Conditions:
• This position works primarily in an office environment, with visits to the warehouse floor necessary.
