Customer Service Associate
Division:Unical Aviation
  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for vendor and customer company management, vendor non-conformance management, customer RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) management, and managing customer inquiries. This position will report into the Quality Department and report to the Quality/Operations Director. The primary goal of this position will be to enhance the overall external customer experience by serving as an internal customer service liaison.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Investigating and resolving non-conforming products in a timely manner.
• Investigating RMA claims from customers for validity and working with Sales/Asset Management to determine the best course of action.
• Managing customer and vendor inquiries that come through via phone and/or emails and serving as a liaison between the any parties involved, including the customers, vendors, and any Unical Aviation departments.
• Collaborate and pro-actively problem solve between multiple departments and customers/vendors.
• Gather feedback from internal customers to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall employee experience.
• Adding and maintaining customers and vendors to the approved database.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• 2 - 4 years of customer-facing service experience.
• Proven experience in a customer service or support role.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good critical thinking skills and proactive problem solver.
• Able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanor.


Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of customer-facing service experience.
• Working knowledge of quality control in a surplus or maintenance operation.
• Warehouse Operations or Sales experience a plus.
• Aviation experience a plus.

Location: Glendale, AZ - Onsite - No Remote Work

Travel:
• No travel required.

Language:
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands:
• Lifting: up to 30 lbs. lifting, carrying, pushing climbing, reaching.

Working Conditions:
• This position primarily works in an office setting with various time spent on warehouse floor and aviation repair station.
