Training Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary:

The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that ensure a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves designing and delivering companywide training programs, managing compliance with all applicable regulations, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. The Training Manager will work closely with other departments to identify training needs, as well as work closely with subject matter experts to create and deploy training.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Training Development and Delivery:

    • Design and develop training programs that meet the specific needs of the organization, including onboarding, technical skills development, leadership training, and soft skills enhancement, programs on health, safety, and environmental practices.
    • Conduct training sessions, including orientation for new employees and refresher courses for existing staff.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update content as needed to ensure ongoing compliance and relevance.
    • Create and manage a training calendar, ensuring that programs are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Develop training materials, such as manuals, e-learning content, presentations, and assessments, to support various learning objectives.

·       Training Delivery and Facilitation:

    • Oversee the delivery of training programs, including in-person sessions, virtual training, workshops, and seminars.
    • Facilitate training sessions as needed, ensuring that content is engaging, informative, and accessible to all participants.
    • Manage external training vendors and consultants, ensuring that they deliver high-quality training in line with organizational standards.

·       Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, making adjustments to programs as necessary.
    • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the quality and impact of training initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Training Management role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering successful training programs in a corporate or organizational setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and software.


Preferred Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in related field


Travel: 
Occasional travel may be required to conduct inspections, audits, or training at different company sites.

 

Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

 

Physical Demands:

·       Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasions.

·       Carrying, Bending, Walking, Pushing, Climbing, Reaching.

 

Working Conditions:

  • The position may require working in various environments, including office settings, production facilities, and outdoor locations.
  • Occasional travel may be required to conduct inspections, audits, or training at different company sites.
