VP of Asset Management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Summary:  The Vice President of Asset Management manages and supports all functions essential to sales force productivity. This includes planning, reporting, vendor program development and implementation, as well as metrics management, and process optimization. Will also be responsible for budgeting, reducing costs, creating efficiencies, vendor management and supporting all internal customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Unical’s repair vendors to ensure the lowest cost repairs and on-time deliveries.
  • Develop, monitor, and track supplier-specific performance metrics and action plans.
  • Vendor management which includes Identifying metrics for vendor selection.
  • Having in-depth knowledge of repair and purchase planning and process flows.
  • Conducting market data/ trend analysis for department road maps.
  • Identifying and negotiating with suppliers for price, service, performance and other terms and conditions.
  • Be able to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier consolidation.
  • Making suggestions to the executive leadership team.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and performance reviews of additional staff.
  • Management presentations
  • Able to have conflict resolution abilities.
  • Prepared to have contingency plan in necessary situations.
  • Developing and supporting new strategic programs and projects with or in conjunction with other departments, such as Sales and Business Development, which include but are not limited to, Power-by-Hour (PBH) or Main Base Kits (MBK) for Components, Equipment Lease and Rental, Component Repair Management, Operational Cost Reduction, Strategic Alliance, Joint-Venture, and others.
  • Leading Strategic Procurement Group in parts purchase and replenishment strategy; as well as formulating strategic procurement with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Analyze sales data, review statistics, identify trends and formulate strategies.
  • Supporting companywide daily sale operations, including monitoring daily, monthly, and yearly sales numbers and targets.
  • Resolving any arising difficulties in repair or purchase orders, parts delivery, order discrepancy, parts quality and business terms and payment matters.
  • Supervising the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) factory new parts distribution team in identifying suitable OEMs and distribution inventory, delivery, and payment terms.
  • Set and continuously review purchase and repair budgets and performance measurement.
  • Frequent travel within the USA or International is necessary for meeting with customers, suppliers, OEMs, conferences & exhibitions.
  • Performing regular reviews with senior management of the progress of program initiatives.
  •  Provide excellent customer service in addressing questions from all internal customers.
  • Other duties to be assigned, as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales compensation design and administration in the Aviation or Aerospace industry.

  • Understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with third party Sales Enablement Tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree desired.
  • Quantum experience ideal.

Travel: Must be able to travel 40% of the time.

Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands:

  • Work Environment: 100% office.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Working Conditions: 

  • Working in a busy office environment, open space setting.
  • Will have to handle multiple projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of other departments or team members.
