Product Line Support Specialist - Airframes

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Summary: 

The Product Line Support Specialist – Airframes will be responsible for planning, implementing, and processing daily sales support staff research and technical knowledge to support Unical’s customer base. This individual will report directly to the Director of Product Line.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to read, interpret, the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) successfully locating aircraft article information and fulfilling all Unical sales’ requirements.
  • Contacting sources and obtaining price, condition, and availability for each requirement
  • Data entry and updates information into Quantum system
  • Communicating effectively and maintaining a professional relationship with internally and externally
  • Estimate turnaround times, and relative costs to provide data for management/operational decisions.
  • To provide day-to-day sales support, help to improve sales revenue, and provide all aspects of aftermarket sales and service.
  • Optimize management of inventory.
  • To develop new product types and ranges for the Airframe Group.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in an MRO, repair station or airline environment.
  • Skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Must have basic understanding of aircraft airframe technologies and its operations.
  • Requires organizational skills, attention to details and have above average customer service skills.
  • Requires good oral and written communication skills, organization, time-management skills, and the ability to estimate costs.
  • Must have strong drive and aggressiveness.
  •  Teamwork is very important trait as well as good interpersonal skills as there is a need to coordinate with different departments.
  • Must be able to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines.
  • Should have good business acumen and good judgment.
  • A&P training will be an advantage.
  • Previous sales experience or MRO experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy.

 Travel: No Travel Required

Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time working with a computer.
  • Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs.
  • Carrying, Walking, Pushing, Climbing, Reaching

Working Conditions:  This position works in an office environment, with possible visits to repair stations and engine shops.
