The Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for performing rate level indications, relativity analysis, reserve analysis, and financial projections.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Develop rate level indications.
Perform relativity and reserve analyses.
Develop financial projections.
Provide detailed competitive analysis.
Organize, plan, and lead team efforts to complete projects on time.
Analyze and provide detailed analysis of assigned projects.
Research and develop strategic data solutions.
Actively pursue passing of actuarial examinations, unless credentialed.
Provide after-hours support if necessary.
Comply with the Certified Fleet Operation requirements of the Company Driving and Safety policy.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Economics, Finance or related field.
Completion of at least 3 actuarial exams and VEE Requirements.
Ability to lead multiple projects.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability and willingness to learn and extend skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software required.
Willing to travel as required.
Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator status under the Company Driving and Safety Policy.
Use of PC and other office equipment over 6 hours per day.
Extended periods of sitting and concentration.
Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasional long, irregular hours.
Work to be conducted in office environment owned/leased by company.
Occasional travel by auto or other public transportation.
