SUMMARY:
The Peer Support Specialist will provide recovery-oriented support to individuals with substance use disorders. Utilizing their own lived experience, the Peer Support Specialist will offer hope, motivation, and guidance through individual and group support, advocacy, and resource linkage. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Peer Support Specialist or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire. Preferred experience in peer support, advocacy, or related field and bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
