Duties Include:
· Create, edit, and produce multimedia content utilizing video, photography, graphic design, and animation techniques.
· Clean, splice, preserve, and handle physical film formats (8mm, 16mm, 35mm, and 70mm) in accordance with cataloged and production standards.
· Utilize video editing and rendering software, including Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve, to develop professional-quality multimedia products.
· Apply knowledge of video compression formats, codecs, and delivery specifications to produce multiple final delivery formats, including MOV and MP4 files.
· Design and develop informational and technical posters, electronic displays, and other visual communication products.
· Develop graphics, video content, and multimedia products for presentations, reports, briefings, and organizational communications.
· Coordinate and facilitate multimedia products through the Operations Security (OPSEC) review and approval process.
· Plan, organize, and execute multimedia projects involving video, audio, photography, and graphic development. Determine technical requirements, establish production approaches, and operate or oversee the setup of lighting, cameras, microphones, and related production equipment.
· Consult with project stakeholders to identify, recommend, and coordinate resources necessary for the development and distribution of multimedia products.
· Provide professional recommendations regarding multimedia production methods, visual presentation techniques, and final product delivery formats.
· Maintain awareness of current industry trends, technologies, and best practices in multimedia production and visual communications.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Creative Media, Multimedia Production, or a related field from an accredited institution and four years of full-time professional experience in multimedia editing experience is required.
Must demonstrate current expertise in video creation, editing, and production using tools such as Final Cut Pro X and Apple Motion. Must possess working knowledge of graphic design, photo editing, and desktop publishing applications, including Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in the operation of digital video and still photography equipment. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
A valid state driver’s license is required. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a security investigation. The selected candidate must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information and for employment and assignment at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in technical writing, editing, and production within a Government contracting environment is strongly desired. Professional experience using graphic design and desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Publisher. Professional experience in web design and website content management. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) Test and Evaluation programs and related mission support activities.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Able to work in office setting, and occasional remote locations. Must be able to work for prolonged segments sitting or standing. Must be able to lift, transport, and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including packing, unpacking, and transporting video production equipment and associated cases.
