Reports to and assists GTO Section Supervisor by receiving, processing, and following up on work requirements from Government Points of Contact (GPOC) and other SRS departments. Requests for support are received via PCMS, Work Requests (WR) and Change Orders (CO). The Operations Supervisor will initiate Work Orders and assign tasks to the proper personnel. Coordinate and schedule resources (equipment and personnel) for efficient and responsive Test Support and Project Leadership. Provide written responses and estimates for government statements of work. Research and specify parts, supplies, equipment, and other materials to support operations. Write and submit purchase requisitions and provide detailed substantiation. Provide daily monitoring and follow-up to ensure timely execution of assigned tasks. Monitor daily roadblock schedules and adjust personnel schedules as needed. Assists in managing equipment inventory and control; maintain equipment logs; maintenance requirements; tracks and monitors work on a daily basis and assists in adjusting work assignments as required. The Operations Supervisor will coordinate work assignments with customers. Assist GTO Supervisor with all reporting requirements and data calls. Document and complete work orders in Maintenance Connection (MC) Maintenance Management software. Assist GTO Supervisor with all Safety, Security, Environmental, and Facility maintenance requirements.
Secondary additional duty includes Project Coordination. The Operations Supervisor will be assigned varying projects that will require planning, document generation, cost estimation, oversight of SRS personnel and sub-contract support.
Must be a graduate of a two-year technical institute with a minimum of two (2) years of applicable supervisory/leadership experience or a total of four (4) years progressive applicable experience in the specific field. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with contract and mission support operations. Prior supervisory experience with emphasis on customer relations and project planning and execution. Familiarity with timekeeping and Maintenance Management computer modules. Military experience in logistics or equipment maintenance.
