Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking an executive-level
Senior Technical Briefing Coordinator
for the ARPA-H Director's Office. The ARPA-H mission is to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems.
Responsibilities:
1. Architect and deliver technical briefings that inspire and inform senior leaders, translating cutting-edge scientific and operational topics into clear, compelling narratives, at times on short timelines to meet immediate needs
2. Partner with ARPA-H Program Managers, Mission Office leadership, subject matter experts, and communications team members to curate and synthesize briefing content that drives engagements and meeting outcomes
3. Design and author executive-level materials—slide decks, summaries, talking points, and backgrounders, among other items—that are fit for purpose, with precision, creativity, and strategic focus
4. Orchestrate briefing logistics, ensuring seamless scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and follow-through on action items
5. Analyze briefing & meeting outcomes and stakeholder feedback, driving continuous improvement and elevating the impact of technical communications
6. Work collaboratively across the organization to create materials, in particular the writers and designers in the Division of Communications, to develop a range of work products, both visual and written
7. Champion ARPA-H's model, mission, and standards for scientific excellence and innovation in every product
8. Build and maintain a living repository of briefing resources, templates, and best practices to fuel future success
9. Enable high-quality work across the Director's Office by supporting other team members
Requirements:
1. PhD in a scientific, engineering, public health, or related discipline; and/or MD
2. 5+ years of experience in executive-level support and/or government agencies, with a focus on science, technology, and innovation
3. Proven experience communicating complex scientific information to senior-level executives, ideally in health innovation or research settings
4. Exceptional ability to synthesize, distill, and energize technical content for diverse audiences
5. Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving
6. Ability to deliver high-quality written and visual products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
7. Mastery of presentation and collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, SharePoint, Slack, Teams)
8. Familiarity with and comfort using AI tools for knowledge-gathering, research assistance, and productivity support
9. Passion for ARPA-H's mission and values—innovation, integrity, and transformative impact
Preferred Experience:
1. Experience supporting or staffing senior executives, especially within HHS, ARPA, or comparable high-impact health and science organizations
2. Deep familiarity with the culture, pace, and priorities of government or advanced research environments
3. Track record of strong teamwork that catalyzes action across an organization
Qualification Requirements:
Education: Ph.D. in scientific, engineering, public health, or related discipline; and/or MD required
