Strategic Analysis, Inc. is in search of a Junior SAP Security Specialist supports the security posture of Special Access Programs (SAPs) by assisting senior staff in various security disciplines. This role requires a foundational understanding of program protection, classification architectures, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), SAP Program Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), and security principles governing classified activities.
Salary Range: $130k-$175kResponsibilities: · Assist in the development and maintenance of security architectures for classified programs. · Support the research and development of program protection strategies. · Assist in the application and monitoring of appropriate security requirements (physical, information, personnel, industrial) for specific programs. · Draft sections of DD 254s and other security documentation under the guidance of senior staff. · Develop familiarity with Executive Order 13526, the NISPOM, DoD Information Security Manuals, and DoD SAP Security Manuals. · Support the creation, processing, coordination, and approval of physical security (SAP Facility and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Automated Information Systems (AIS)) accreditations · Assist in the creation and review of security documentation (e.g., SCGs, PPPs, Test Security Plans, etc.). · Provide support for meetings and program reviews. · Assist with OPSEC analysis and support activities. · Perform administrative tasks such as preparing meeting minutes, assisting with visitor control, and other duties as assigned.Qualifications: · BS with 3 to 5 years of related DoD or IC experience · Candidates must hold a TS/SCI with the willingness and ability to pass a CI polygraph; it is highly desirable for candidates to have taken and passed CI polygraph within the past three years · Foundational knowledge of SAP security principles. · Understanding of physical, personnel, and industrial security requirements within the SAP context. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
