Job Description:

$5000 Sign-On Bonus!!!!


72 or 80 hours every two weeks

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30 and occasional 12:00pm-8:00pm (hours vary based on department needs)
Saturdays: 8:00am-5:00pm
Sundays: 11:00am-5:00 pm
Every 8th weekend -once every other month!

Location: (may rotate to others locations within Mankato area based on needs)

The Radiologic Technologist works under general supervision to assist the Radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients; and works effectively with patients and other Clinic personnel.

  • Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality.
  • Assist patients throughout their visit to the department, making them feel comfortable and lending a hand whenever possible.
  • Be proficient in the technical operation of all diagnostic equipment; use proper care in handling equipment.
  • High Functioning Team: Work effectively with providers, management and co-workers within department and across the organization to ensure a high functioning team. 
  • Act as an agent to obtain medical information and history to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Allscripts / Electronic Health Record
  • Documentation should be accurate, objective, timely, and relevant to the patient’s care.
  • Manage task list using a team approach
  • Document discretely in Touchworks
  • Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum; clean cassettes as necessary.
  • Perform blood pressures, take pulse rate prior to contrast exams and provide appropriate documentation.
  • Explain special procedures to patients and help them fill out the necessary paperwork.
  • Monitor patients requiring/receiving contrast or other medications.
  • Review consent forms with patients requiring special usage for biopsies and other special radiology procedures.
  • Assist Radiologist and ensure maximum efficiency; set up for procedures and examinations; prepare drape/drape patient, obtain lab tests and other reports for review.
  • Record vital signs; note abnormal conditions for Radiologist.
  • Administer contrast in correct dosages; document as required, observe for patient reaction.
Job Requirements:
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program; A.R.R.T. Certification; current BLS certification or needs to obtain within 90 days.

Employment is contingent on passing, drug screening, health assessment and background check.
