Mankato Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist to join three ophthalmologists and one optometrist in a very busy clinical practice. You will enjoy a rewarding, challenging practice and still have time for family and the lifestyle you desire. A comprehensive ophthalmologist with special interest in medical retina or glaucoma is desired. Fellowship trained medical retina specialists are also encouraged to apply. .  Full time or part time applicants will be considered.  We offer an ideal opportunity to join an established practice with low physician turnover.  Our physician owned multispecialty group has a large primary care referral base.  We have a competitive compensation package with generous benefits included.

The Eye Care Center includes onsite optical shop with a 30 year veteran optician.  We have strong support staff including eight Certified Ophthalmic Assistants; four non-certified assistants, eight scribes, and is managed by a Certified Ophthalmic Technician. We are located on our Wickersham campus with an attached ambulatory surgery center.   

We use state of the art equipment with Haag Streit slit lamps, Keeler wireless indirects and Reliant chairs and stands in all provider lanes.  We currently have 17 exam lanes.  We have a Zeiss Cirrus OCT, IOL Master 700, Atlas corneal topographer, Humphrey Visual Field analyzer 860 and OPTOS California fundus camera. Lasers available in the clinic include Ellex Tango (YAG / SLT), Zeiss 532s Argon with Trion LIO.  We do in office injections with Avastin, Lucentis and Eylea. Our minor procedure room has a surgical microscope and can be divided into two separate areas.
