Job Summary
Responsible for high-level Human Resources support for the organization, its multiple properties, and
its employees. Assists HR Director in overseeing Generalist's day-to-day HR operations, including talent
acquisition, retention strategies, and employee relations. Analyzes, organizes, and implements HR operations,
including procedures for Orientation, Employee Relations, Compliance, Benefits Enrollment, Hiring, Discipline, and
Termination of benefits or employment. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and
ensures confidential handling of employee files, compensation, and other sensitive data. Maintains up-to-date
knowledge of HR trends and employment laws. Participates in or manages other projects or assignments, as
required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist HR Director in overseeing Generalist’s daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding,
retention initiatives, and resolving employee relations concerns.
2. Assist HR Director in administering employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement
plans, and employee perks or incentives.
3. Manage and monitor Job Fairs, Succession Planning, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and other
departmental HR programs.
4. Assist the HR Director in administering performance evaluation processes and ensuring consistent and
equitable application of compensation strategies.
5. Ensure compliance with all HR-related policies and applicable laws (HIPAA, FMLA, Worker’s Comp, etc.),
and handle reporting requirements accordingly.
6. Support the development of training schedules, curriculum, and cross-training opportunities for the
department.
7. Collaborate with the HR Director on policy updates and ensure best practices throughout HR operations.
8. Conduct and manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee performance concerns following
accepted HR principles.
9. Maintain HR communication protocols, regulatory postings, and deadlines.
10. Oversee confidential maintenance and organization of HR documentation.
11. Design and deliver training in interviewing, hiring, harassment prevention, safety, and compliance.
12. Assist HR Director with job descriptions and policy updates in collaboration with stakeholders.
13. Assist with completing various HR forms, gaming compliance requirements, and background
documentation.
14. Complete special projects, data reporting, and HR analysis for executive decision-making.
15. Perform other HR-related duties or projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or ability required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Business, HR, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience with managerial and project management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding and application of labor laws and HR compliance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Gaming Industry knowledge preferred.
• Must obtain PHR or TPHR certification within one (1) year of hire.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Must be able to analyze accounts/transactions and identify/report on anomalies.
• Must possess proficient database and computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all departments and all team members.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to accurately determine if all gaming rules and regulations are being followed.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as current regulatory knowledge.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
• Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming License is required.
• Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.
• Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test.

While performing the job duties, the employee is required to maneuver in all areas of the casino and related entity
locations when necessary. Ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move
freely throughout the offices and between buildings or properties for the duration of work hours. Frequently
required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, including lift,
carry, push, pull, or move objects, or boxes, up to 35 pounds. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics,
color, and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable
manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words
and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.

Mental
Social perceptiveness to assess and understand others’ reactions and behavior. Critical thinking using logic and
reasoning to reach conclusions or alternative solutions. Comprehension in assessing, analyzing, and processing
alpha, numeric, and visual data, and the ability to accurately formulate or complete required documents. Mental
capacity to monitor sometimes complex situations, to make quick decisions, tolerate stress, and/or conduct tasks
under critical deadlines. Ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without being distracted.
Work Environment
The characteristics of the work environment described here represent those that employees encounter while
performing the job functions. Work in, or visit offices, casino operations, assigned outlet, hotel, kitchen, meeting
space, convention center, gaming floor, motor vehicle, various amenities, and/or additional entity locations, or
external environments, as related to business. Environment includes exposure to second-hand smoke, high noise
level, bright lights, and sometimes fluctuating temperatures or weather conditions. Must be able to work irregular
or additional hours or shifts, including holidays or weekends, as assigned, in order to meet business needs.
