Job Summary
Performs work as directed by Facilities Manager to repair and otherwise maintain all facilities, furnishings and equipment in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> In the absence of the Facilities Manager will issue work assignments
> Repairs damaged facilities and furnishings
> Performs preventative maintenance as directed
> Paints, repairs and hangs drywall, wallpaper
> Performs minor repairs of plumbing systems and equipment
> Performs facility modifications as directed
> Cleans parking lot
> Repairs carpets
> Moves furniture and equipment
> Promptly responds to all repair requests
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)

SPECIFICS REQUIRED:
> High school diploma or GED required
> At least 21 years of age
> 2 years from a Vocational Tech School and 3 years of experience in plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC
-OR-
> 5 years of experience with plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and HVAC
> Knowledge of all safety procedures associated with the well-being of the building and of the Guest and Team Members
> Valid Driver’s License and be insurable on Company’s Policy
PREFERRED:
> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
> Working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of the building specifications of the building
SKILLS REQUIRED:
> Good computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
> Strong organizational skills
> Excellent written communication skills
> Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Excellent problem solving skills
> Guest service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery

> Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds daily

Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate using written, oral, and computer methods. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours. Must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel. Must be able to push, pull, and grasp objects. Must be able to climb a ladder. Must have the ability to independently lift up to ¬50 pounds daily. Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate electrical and mechanical equipment. Must be able to navigate stairs and work at high elevations.
WORKING ENVIROMENT: Office, gaming floor, and convention center environment, to include; flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile Guests. High volume, direct public contact. May be required to work in extreme weather, including extreme heat, cold and inclement weather.
