Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the Table Games in an assigned section within approved guidelines, applicable laws, policies and procedures during assigned shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training.
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.
> Ability to assume the position of dealer when needed.
> Enforces policy and procedures for all table games.
> Prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, organize and delegate assignments.
> Analyze customer play, cheating, scams, card counters, collusion, and unusual or suspicious activity.
> Knowledgeable of local, federal and state gamin regulations as well as Kiowa Casino internal controls, policies and procedures.
> Attends all staff meetings and other meetings as assigned by the Director of Table Games.
> Resolves guest complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
> Ensures all guests are satisfied with their experience at the Kiowa Casino.
> All other duties as assigned.
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
Specifics Required:
> At least 21 years of age
> High school diploma or GED
> 2 years previous dealing experience
> 1 year Table Games Dual Rate Experience or Supervisory Experience
Skills Required:
> Basic computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
> Strong organizational skills
> Excellent written communication skills
> Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Excellent problem solving skills
> Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Strong Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, ability to demonstrate proficiency)
Abilities Required:
> Ability to maintain high confidentiality
> Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments.
> Ability to manage extensive amounts of paperwork
> Ability to operate most office equipment (computer, fax, copier, etc)
> Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
> Ability to build a strong team atmosphere
Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate in using written and oral methods. Must be able to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time. Must have near sight, color vision and depth perception. May be required to work extended hours and different shifts. Must have manual dexterity and manipulate repetitive wrists motions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.
