East Missouri Action Agency is currently accepting applications for a PRN Community Services Representative (CSR) at the Uplift Shelter in St. Francois County. This position is responsible for evening activities associated with the operation of the Uplift Community Services Office as well as providing additional support to the day to day Uplift Center operations. These activities include, but are not limited to: cleaning the facility, providing supplies, meals and meal prep, the timely processing of client intake, associated referrals, applications, special projects and reporting thereof. This position will also serve as the primary agency contact for the shift (evening, overnight and weekend operation) of the Uplift Overnight Shelter.
Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED is required and four years experience in working with low-income programs, case management, or related fields is preferred. A 2 year college degree and 2 years of related experience will also be considered. Candidates must have a valid Missouri Driver's License and insurance. This position requires good communication skills, excellent computer skills, self-motivation, the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
The exact days for this position will be determined based on the program need, but the hours will be 4pm to 12am or 12am to 8 am. Weather dependent, we may request daytime hours. The position is classified as part-time seasonal/temporary.
Starting pay is $15.91 to $16.50 per hour.
