Summary:

East Missouri Action Agency currently has an opening for a Program Area Coordinator - Housing/MHDC at our Central Office in Park Hills. The Program Coordinator's primary function is the oversight of EMAA's Missouri Housing Development grants and shelter funding and to be heavily involved in the Uplift Shelter operations. This position reports directly to the Community Services Director. The incumbent will work closely with agency staff and the accounting department staff to ensure that: the day-to-day operational activities are completed, the agency mission is met, program guidelines are followed, deadlines are met, reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner and program outcomes are met.

Requirements:

A High School Diploma or GED, and four years of experience working with Community Service programs, case management, or related field. A two year degree or two years of college training may be substituted for two years of experience. The ability to communicate effectively and maintain an effective and positive working relationship with staff and stakeholders, as well as collaborate in a team environment is required.

Incumbent must be skilled in presenting training, including preparing and maintaining training manuals on assigned programs; proficient in various procedures involving administrative processes, basic accounting practices and have good mathematical skills. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of various operating systems, spreadsheets, databases and electronic file management are required along with strong public relationship skills, in depth knowledge of program requirements and a commitment to the agency's mission, goals, policies and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of other social service agencies and the services they perform is preferred.

This position also requires the ability to lift over 50lbs., a valid Missouri Drivers License and valid insurance to be able to drive agency vehicles. The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 5pm along with 1.5 hours on the first Friday of every month.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00-$19.49 per hour with an excellent benefit package that includes the following:
