Summary:
East Missouri Action Agency is currently accepting applications for a Retrofit Installer in Weatherization. This position resides within the Housing Department and reports directly to the Weatherization Program Manager. The retrofit installer is responsible for installing general air sealing, insulation, minor electrical and minor plumbing.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of housing construction and energy conservation methods.
  • Ability to perform mathematical equations related to the housing construction trade.
  • Ability to climb ladders, crawl in attics and under homes.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Possess or complete a ten (10) hour OSHA Training Certification.
  • Possess or complete an OSHA Confined Spaces Safety Training Certification.
  • Possess or obtain a Lead Risk Assessor Certification.

Starting pay for this position is dependent on experience. This position is considered full-time and works Monday - Thursday (36 hours/week).
