Job Responsibilities

CND Operations Analyst to support Missile Defense Agency Tier 2 Cybersecurity Service Provider function within the MDA Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) on the JRDC program on Schriever AFB, outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado.Candidate will perform CND Operations tasks and activities under general supervision.  Candidate will:     1) Coordinate network security status inputs required for reporting to USCYBERCOM and subordinates (Tier 1) using a variety of methods including email, secure terminals and other approved means; 2) Provide assistance in organizing and scheduling teleconferences, technical exchanges and conferences with internal and external organizations.  3) Tracking and providing status of network security orders;   4) Assist in writing, coordinating, finalizing, and maintaining CND policies and agreements with Tier 3 customer organizations;   5) Assist in developing, refining, and improving agency-wide cybersecurity policies and operating procedures;      6) Assist in developing and reviewing products and deliverables including (but not limited to) the following: • Senior-level reports and briefings, • Weekly performance reports,• Role-based metrics/status reports, • Tier 3 customer metrics • Quarterly Program Management Review, • CND Service Plan and Task Order Status Report (inputs), • Annual Review/Update of CERT/CND Policies/Procedures.


Bachelor’s degree; 3 years cybersecurity experience; 5 years of general administrative experience. A Master’s degree may be considered in place of some experience and additional work experience may be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree• Must be proactive and possess excellent organizational skills• Must be able to work in a team environment and independently as necessary• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize various projects and assignments in a dynamic work environment in order to meet unscheduled customer requests.  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint are required• Proven aptitude in oral, written, and interpersonal communications including technical writing• Must have a current DoD 8570.01- M IAT Level I certification with Continuing Education (CE)• Candidate must have an active DoD Secret security clearance to start; must have or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.• Must be willing to work rotating shifts in 24x7 operational environment and respond quickly to emergencies as needed.• Must be willing to travel (CONUS) - infrequent and less than two weeks.

?Experience in developing policy or advocating for changes in policy to support new initiatives or required changes/ enhancements• Experience in cybersecurity policy• Experience with the production of technical documents, briefings and process documents.  • Familiar with Microsoft Project, Access, Visio and Adobe Acrobat• Business Administration, Communications, or Journalism Degree preferred.
