Job Responsibilities
The Operations and Sustainment (O&S) Lead supports the Digital/Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Event Planning and Operations (DEPO) organization on the JRDC program based at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.• Supports the Organization Manager and Deputy Organization Manager in meeting all contractual and organizational requirements, to include overall cost, contract, and personnel management oversight• Provide leadership and direct oversight to the O&S team in handling the day-to-day Operations and Sustainment responsibilities across DEPO Task Orders as well as WBI Task Orders to include:• Cyber patching and sustainment support• Software and hardware installations • Network maintenance• Mission dedication (DTW Event specific knowledge)• Support the DEPO Mission and Products Support (MPS) team as needed.• Shares the following types of activities with the Organization Manager: • Represents the DEPO Organization at various customer venues• Develops monthly forecasts, provides technical inputs to cost estimates, elevates items of interest such as customer concerns or feedback and staffing concerns to Organization Manager and Deputy Organization Manager.• Reviews and supports implementation of program and organizational requirements (e.g., cost, schedule, and technical performance)• Represents the DEPO Organization at various JRDC and MDIOC venues including System Requirements Board (SRB), Design Review Board (DRB), and other miscellaneous meetings• Develops and provides inputs to various briefings and documents—including PMR inputs, WARs, and Task Order Status (TOS) reports—and provides general oversight and guidance• Establishes and oversees the organizational standards, procedures, and services.
Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Ballistic  Missile Defense System Ground Test and Modeling  and Simulation domains• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well in a team environment, have strong interpersonal skills and have a positive, can-do attitude• The candidate must have at least one of the following certifications: Security+, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Must be certified Security+ or equivalent, per DoD 8570• The candidate must have professional hands-on experience in design, implementation and troubleshooting of the following technologies: Cisco routers/switches/firewalls/IPS, internal and external routing protocols, TCP and UDP, IP, multicast and Ethernet broadcast in a multi-layer operational network environment, Voice over IP Call Manager, local and long-haul data transmission mediums (RS-530, Tl, OC-x, etc.), SONET, Type I encryption devices and network timing systems, Microsoft Windows Computing Environments, Knowledge in/with DISA and SHB imaging standards.• Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

?Experience with MDA/DTG, MDA/DTW, and/or MDA/ESI customers• Experience with MDA/DTG, MDA/DTW, and MDA/ESI enclaves• Experience with communication networks (MDACNet, DISN, SIPRNet, JTEN)• Familiar with architecture supporting Mission Partner Environments (MPE)• DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance • Proficiency with Visio 2010. Knowledge of MDA classified networks. Experience in a training and exercise environment, particularly wargame operations• Knowledge of DIS, VMF, SSF, TDIL-J, and C2BMC. CISSP, CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE certified• Experience with Linux RedHat and other operation platforms outside of Microsoft is a plus• Experience resolving hardware & software conflicts and perform server maintenance and break/fix activities• Familiarity with operating within a virtualized environment such as VMWare.
