Job Responsibilities
The Sensors Test, Analysis, Requirements and Simulation (STARS) team is seeking a Mid-Level Radar Operator/Analyst who will enhance our support of the Missile Defense Agency’s sensor systems. This position requires a detailed oriented individual who can perform a variety of tasks including operating radars (AN/TPY-2, CDU, SBX & UEWR) and analyzing performance from HWIL, flight and/or ground test data.  This individual will conduct element and system level analysis utilizing the full suite of Missile Defense Agency sensors.    Analysis may include aspects of individual sensor performance (Search, Acquisition/Track, and Discrimination) to system level performance assessment.  Candidate should be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer. Candidate must have good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers.
First-hand knowledge of one of the four missile defense radar systems specified above, how they operate and experience with radar data manipulation and analysis of radar data. Experience in radar operations, analysis, and concepts of operations combined with the ability to follow procedures and troubleshoot issues. Experience performing analysis using Matlab.  Must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel.  Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must. 

RCS modeling, discrimination algorithm development, design and analysis with waveform tables, pulse-by-pulse data analysis, Battle Plan development and Battle Manager (GFC, TFCC and C2BMC) interfaces.  Analysis tool-building experience is also desired, with MATLAB experience preferred. 

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics and at least 5 years of applicable experience.
