Job Responsibilities
As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, the candidate will provide support for analyzing and developing resources to expand and sustain the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Philadelphia Medical Master Catalog (MMC) and other DMLSS-W applications, as well as managing the DMLSS-W Infrastructure, its servers and applications and software to be sustained securely and in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Information Assurance (IA) guidelines. The purpose of this support is to supply the Medical Directorate, Medical Supply Chains, and our partners at DMLSS-Retail with the most up-to-date catalog information and Readiness Planning data. This support will include oversight of Software Quality Assurance practices and Software Lifecycle Management to meet DLA Best Practices and DoD Audit Readiness standards. In addition, the Lead Business Systems Analyst will support the DLA Troop Support Medical Directorate, Medical Supply Chains and our partners at DMLSS-Retail with the most reliable and stable platform possible for our DMM online web portal, as well as, manage software development compliance within the program. He/She will also provide support for gate-keeping functionality, release management & application, and SQL & Oracle administration for DMLSS-W.
As the Lead Business Systems Analyst, the candidate will provide top-level technical contributions with expertise in Information Technology cradle-to-grave processes related to applications and infrastructure. He/She will be responsible for documenting existing operations and practices, analyzing those operations & practices against documented best practices, and developing a plan of actions and milestones to evolve to the best practices. He/She will also act as a member of a team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
  • Bachelor in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience
  • IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check & Credit Check (NACLC)
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • Availability for CONUS travel as required
