Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support Commander US Strategic Command/J2 Directorate's (CDRUSSTRATCOM's) Strategic Deterrence, Space Operations, Joint Electronic Warfare (EW), Global Strike, Global Missile Defense, analysis and targeting mission areas. He/She will support CDRUSSTRATCOM plans and Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) analysis; duties include providing situational awareness of adversary threat capabilities to support Indications and Warning, authoring strategic regional and global JIPOE products to enable deliberate and crisis action planning, and authoring intelligence products for USSTRATCOM headquarter staff and assigned component commands and task forces.

As the JIOC Intelligence Analysis Support, the candidate will prepare, integrate, brief and publish broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessment in coordination with other agency elements and IC components on adversary regional issues to inform senior decision makers in acquisitions, operations, planning, and policymaking communities. He/She will conduct near-term, mid-term, and long-term analysis supporting the JOIC's mission of providing current intelligence to senior leadership as well as support to deliberate and operational planning. In addition, the candidate will support, establish, and continue a network of contracts for all-source analysis and reporting, ensure analytical findings are based upon multi-layered research and sources and provide a functional perspective with regional emphasis on relevant existing and emerging threats. Additional duties will include supporting the development of intelligence collection requirements and providing feedback and evaluations to IC reporting, supporting Target Systems Analysis and target folder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts, participation on teams for special projects or studies of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of strategic deterrence issues and problems, and interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance to prepare recommendations for management.

The candidate will maintain government furnished databases and software applications, to include the use of visualization tools, in support of strategic intelligence analysis to include support to briefings, papers, and presentations as requested by the USSTRATCOM/J2. He/She will also attend relevant government meetings as required in support of analyzing and planning for the government. These meetings may include periodic training, staff, production and technical exchange meetings either on-site or off-site and provide minutes of these meetings as required. Analytical support for the development, validation, implementation, and modification of current and evolving command and intentions and technology will also be required, as well as, serving as SMEs to support command exercises, training events, war games, and crisis re\sponse operations as required.
Qualifications
Requirements:
*A minimum of five (5) years' experience as an all-source analyst authoring or editing intelligence products
*A minimum of three (3) years' experience as an all-source analyst authoring or editing intelligence products in Area 2
*A minimum of five (5) years' experience as an all-source analyst authoring or editing intelligence products focused on OOB, disposition, capabilities or doctrine for strategic forces
*Providing support for plans and JIPOE analysis, including providing situational awareness for adversary threat capabilities to support I&W, authoring strategic regional and global JIPOE products to enable deliberate and crisis action planning, and authoring intelligence products for the USSTRATCOM headquarters staff, assigned component commands & task forces, and the intelligence community
*Preparation, integration, briefing, and publishing broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other agency elements and IC components on adversary regional issues
*Providing support to the development of intelligence collection requirements and providing feedback and evaluation to IC reporting
*Providing analysis supporting Target Systems Analysis and target colder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts
*Maintain government furnished databases and software applications, to include the use of visualization tools, in support of strategic intelligence analysis to include briefings, papers, and presentations

Clearance:
*A Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information with Nuclear Command & Control (SCI and NC2)
