Job Responsibilities

BMDSS designs, builds, and maintains MDIOC IT and facility infrastructure for four customers in addition to the sustainment and upgrade of the C2BMC Test Bed. The Implementation Engineer will develop and ensure Change Request (CRQ) Technical Data Packages are complete, comprehensive, and up-to-date; and coordinate with BMDSS peers, external organizations, and customers. The Implementation Engineer will produce work products that are of high quality and adhere to JRDC and BMDSS procedures and policies including support for internal and external reviews such as the BMDSS Configuration Control Board (BCCB), BMDSS Engineering Review Board (ERB), Work Screening Team (WST), and the Change Authorization Board (CAB). The Implementation Engineer coordinates with the project management team to ensure projects are executed and completed against approved schedules.

Demonstrated ability to plan, deconflict and manage implementation activities for projects. • Must be able to communicate and  multitask in a dynamic environment, work independently, and work in a team environment with minimal supervision. •  Must have good communication skills with demonstrated experience in briefing senior customers and management.•  Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

?Understanding of the project lifecycle and related processes, traditional systems engineering skills and knowledge, requirements traceability matrices and familiarity with information technology concepts (i.e., communication networks, computer and networking hardware). • Experience working  CRQs and associated implementation vehicles at the MDIOC.  •  Understanding of MS Office applications (including Visio), knowledge of Missile Defense, DoD communications systems and MDIOC operations.  ** Degree in an IT or Engineering related discipline.
