Job Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Engineer/Cyber IA Analyst, the successful candidate will support the Joint National Integration Center Research & Development Contract (JRDC) program's Infrastructure Engineering Information Assurance team. He/She will focus their skills on Certification & Accreditation (C&A) activities. He/She will be responsible for, but not limited to, understanding the C&A lifecycle (authorize, monitor, categorize, select, implement, and assess security controls), originate Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation documentation, participate in controls validation testing of accredited systems, and C&A lifecycle documentation maintenance.
  • Master degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related field with a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience (acceptable alternative education/experience: Doctorate/4, Bachelor/15)
  • Appropriate certification under DoD 8570.01-M which include CISA, CISSP, GCIH, GCED, and CASP CE
  • Experience with Certification & Accreditation under a Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification Process Risk Management Framework (DIACAP/RMF) process to include authorize, monitor, categorize, select, implement, and assess security controls
  • Understanding of controls validation testing procedures in RMF
  • Experience using MS Office tools

    Desired Competencies/Experience/Certifications:
  • Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) accreditation documentation and processes

  • Must be able to obtain, or already possess, a secret security clearance
