Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct extensive research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and long-term trends. He/She will also review raw data and finished intelligence, analyze systems and facilities, determine vulnerabilities and threats, and produce all-source finished intelligence on foreign space and counter space capabilities, employment, and threats to US space operations. Preparation, integrating, briefing, and publishing broad and complex all-source space intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other agency elements and IC components on space and space control issues influencing senior decision makers in acquisitions, operational, and policy-making communities will also be required.

He/She will propose new or revised analytical products to alert decision makers to new developments and to meet customer requirements, as well as, participate on teams for special projects or studies of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of space and space control issues and problems, and interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance to prepare recommendations for management. The candidate will establish and maintain a network of contacts with component and national-level space intelligence organizations to maintain situational awareness and ensure analytical findings are sound, based upon all-source research, and provide a functional perspective on relevant existing and emerging space threats. The candidate will have a working knowledge of the Unified Command Plan (UPC) and Joint Staff Publication 3-14 (Space Operations) as they pertain to space intelligence support of command responsibilities and assist as required to develop CONOPs operations and plans development. He/She will advise and assist the government in the collection, coordination, presentation, prioritization, and dissemination of CCMD space requirements.

The qualified candidate will attend relevant government meetings as required in support of analyzing and planning for the government, which may include periodic training, staff, production and technical exchange meetings either on-site or off-site and provide minutes of these meetings as required. He/She will support USSTRATCOM in the resolution of intelligence issues related to space and space control operations and planning support. Analytical support for the development, validation, implementation and modification of current and evolving command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign space doctrine, policy, intentions and technology as well as serving as SME to support command exercises, training events, war games, and crisis response operations as required will also fall under the candidates purview.
Qualifications
Requirements:
*A minimum of ten (10) years' experience as an all-source intelligence analyst authoring or editing intelligence products
*A minimum of eight (8) years' experience as an all-source analyst authoring or editing intelligence products in Area 1
*A minimum of five (5) years' experience as an all-source analyst authoring or editing intelligence products focused on space and counter-space forces, capabilities, disposition, and intent
*Experience conducting extensive research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and long-term trends
*Experience preparing, integrating, briefing and publishing broad and complex all-source space intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other agency elements and IC components on space and space control issues
*Knowledge and understanding of Unified Command Plan (UPC) and Joint Staff Publications 3-14 (Space Operations) as they pertain to space intelligence support of command responsibilities, CONOPs operations and plan development
*Experience advising and assisting the government in collection, coordination, presentation, prioritization, and dissemination of CCMD space requirements
*Experience providing analytical support for the development, validation, implementation, and modification of current and evolving command and DoD planning documents requiring insight into foreign space doctrine, policy, intentions, and technology
*A minimum of 10 years of direct intelligence analysis experience at an IC or DoD intelligence agency, combatant command or DoD intelligence unit, of which at least 8 years are on adversary space analysis, or 10+ years of civilian intelligence analysis experience or equivalent academic experience. Credentialed SME or recognized expert who has authored/published intelligence products or civilian/academic pieces on adversary space issues
