OPERATIONS AND HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) INTERNSHIP
The Operations Division is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated intern to support both Operations and Human Resources. This internship is ideal for students interested in Human Resources, Operations, talent acquisition, or organizational management. The selected intern will serve 4 weeks in the Human Resources department and 4 weeks in the Operations department.
What You’ll Do
Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting coordination and new-hire documentation
Maintain employee files and update HR databases
Help organize HR data, records, and compliance documentation
Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Create a Box Hub to house all the necessary documents for the Summer Intern Program
Assist with active procurement and Request for Proposal (RFP) projects, including administrative support, coordination support, and file organization
Assist with asset inventory scanning, labeling/verification, and updates to inventory records
Support contract extension administration activities for the new fiscal year
What You’ll Learn
HR policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Hands-on experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, document management tools)
Exposure to multiple HR functions and participation in meetings, trainings, and workshops
Ongoing mentorship and feedback from HR and Operation professionals
Overview of key processes (procurement/RFP workflow, inventory basics, contract administration basics)
Exposure to Legal and Council support
Professional communication and workplace expectations
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong data entry accuracy
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Interest in recruitment, onboarding, or HR operations
