IT INTERNSHIP – DESKTOP SUPPORT AND IMAGING
The IT Division is seeking a tech savvy, hands on intern to support desktop software, hardware troubleshooting, and imaging projects. This role is ideal for students interested in building real-world IT support experience while strengthening foundational technical skills.
What You’ll Do
Assist with desktop software support and troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair laptop and printer hardware issues
Help build and test new laptop images and support a new imaging server
Provide helpdesk support, including password resets
Support asset management and equipment disposal documentation
Shadow senior IT staff for additional learning opportunities
What You’ll Learn
Desktop hardware and software support fundamentals
Basic networking concepts
Imaging processes and server setup
Microsoft 365 tools and workflows
Skills aligned with A+ and Network+ certification paths
Career guidance and mentorship from experienced IT professionals
Basic understanding of networking
Knowledge of computer and printer hardware
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Interest in IT support, systems, or technical troubleshooting
