Children’s Services Council (CSC) of Palm Beach County, a special district created over 35 years ago by Palm Beach County voters, provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county’s children so they are healthy, safe, ready for school, and ready for life.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS SPECIALIST
This position is part of CSC’s Communications & Partnerships Division. This division serves as the organization’s voice and connector, building strong relationships and partnerships to create lasting impact on behalf of Palm Beach County children and families.
This professional position is responsible for fostering strong relationships with residents and community members through direct engagement and responsive communication. This role supports and coordinates a variety of resident-focused activities and events, ensuring efficient logistics, inclusive participation and meaningful experiences. The position also involves managing agreements related to community initiatives and providing high-quality customer service to address inquiries and concerns effectively.
Associate’s Degree with a minimum of four (4) to (6) six years of combined related work and community experience in the areas that complement this body of work. Expertise in the areas of resident engagement, program planning and development, collaboration with community agencies, performing direct services in human services agency serving children and families, and/or development and implementation of programs, initiatives and projects. Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
The Community Partnerships Specialist will be working primarily on site at our office in Boynton Beach, Florida and must frequently travel off-site to visit provider agencies and participate in meetings throughout the community which include some evenings and weekends.
