Creare seeks a Fabrication Technician with strong hands-on skills in machining, welding, prototyping, assembly, and mechanical construction for engineering prototypes and test facilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Fabricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies and components.
• Perform manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders), welding, cutting, plumbing, and mechanical assembly.
• Build fixtures, prototypes, and custom tooling.
• Assist with CAD-driven fabrication (interpret drawings, verify tolerances).
• Maintain shop equipment, tools, and fabrication spaces.
• Support engineers with prototype development and facility modifications.

• Strong demonstrated fabrication skills (machining, welding, assembly, tooling).
• Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience with prototyping and creative problem-solving in hands-on environments.
• Ability to interpret and modify CAD models or drawings.
• Organization, communication, and safe work practices.

Starting salary range of $28- $35 per hour, based on level of education completed and years of relevant experience.
