Mechanical Designer
Job Responsibilities
Creare is a leading research and development engineering firm in Hanover, NH, known for its innovative technology and product development. Creare is seeking a Mechanical Designer to produce 3D CAD models and detailed drawings, and to provide design support for a variety of mechanical hardware projects that involve complex, multi-part systems and assemblies.
Professional Requirements
This position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school; minimum of five years’ related experience and/or training (preferably modeling and detailing precision machine parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies for the military or aerospace industry); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Full proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software is required, familiarity/skill with SolidWorks and Product Data Management (PDM) systems is preferred. Working knowledge of graphics software a plus. Individual must have a complete understanding of drafting standards, a talent for spatial conceptualization, and be able to communicate clearly and accurately using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication and prioritization skills are also required.

The starting salary range is $30 - $40 per hour, based on level of education and years of relevant work experience.
