Business Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)
  
Job Responsibilities

Creare is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Assistant to join our Accounting department. This role primarily focuses on providing administrative support for the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable. The position also involves collecting and preparing backup paperwork, data entry, filing, photocopying, and other tasks as assigned within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices and other documents for Accounts Payable.
  • Collect, organize, and prepare necessary backup documentation.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to Accounts Payable and other accounting functions.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Assist with photocopying, document management, and general office support.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounting department.

Position Details

  • Part-Time: This role is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, focused on Accounts Payable support.
  • Full-Time Opportunity: For candidates who can provide broader administrative and accounting support, the role may be expanded to full-time.
Professional Requirements
  • Associate's degree (AS) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with a minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or office experience preferred. High school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Starting salary range of $20 - $25 per hour, based on level of education completed and years of relevant experience. Additional compensation includes a substantial annual staff bonus.
