Job Responsibilities
Hands-on IT Manager sought to lead and contribute technically to Creare’s busy IT department to support a high-tech engineering and administrative environment.  Management duties include: preparing and managing the department budget; soliciting input from and reporting to company ownership; planning for the department future including the direction of technology usage and cyber-security compliance; and managing the workload, training, and supervision of the department members. Technical duties include: network and system administration and troubleshooting; PC technical support (hardware and software installations, workstation set-up, network hook-up, PC and peripheral repairs, troubleshooting); and providing internal user assistance.  
Professional Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of management experience and 5-10 years of technical experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required.  Specific experience must include managing a team, developing a budget, overseeing cyber-security compliance, software and hardware installation and support, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).  Preferred but not required: experience with DeskPro helpdesk system, PBX/VOIP phone systems, mobile device management and mobile support (e.g. Office and MFA apps), Exchange email servers, printer maintenance and troubleshooting experience, CAD support, and SQL database administration.  Excellent managerial and technical skills coupled with effective communication, self-motivation, and work organization and prioritization skills are a must.

Starting salary range of $90,000 to $130,000 per year (total comp-base annual salary + annual discretionary bonus), based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
