If you are passionate about helping to keep older adults safe, join our team at Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging by Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc.  At MRAAA, we advocate for the well-being of older adults and work to reduce or eliminate risks associated with all types of elder abuse!

Work for this full-time position includes investigating reports of abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, and abandonment. You’ll be trained in techniques to perform effective investigations; how to apply protective services legislation; and how to evaluate medical, social and psychological needs of older adults. You’ll implement action plans to help older adults utilize services and enhance quality of life.

You’ll be a great fit if you have excellent communication and reasoning skills; an empathetic and calm approach with strong persuasive abilities; you’re a self-starter capable of thriving in an evolving environment; and you have strong documentation skills. Your criminal background check, motor vehicle driving records, and drug test must meet agency standards.

In addition to great team members, we are a qualifying agency under the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program!  We offer partially-remote work and our regular work schedule is day shift, Monday-Friday. Occasionally this position serves on an after-hours, on-call rotation. Minimum Experience and Training: 1.5 years of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience; and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or

1 year as an aging care manager 2 or aging program assessor; or

At the agency’s sole discretion, any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 6 months of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience.
