ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Manages and maintains all in-house production including print & electronic advertising.
  • Manages and maintains all external print vendors by collecting proposals, verifying charges and ensuring delivery of receipt. 
  • Manages office supplies for the department including monitoring, ordering, verifying charges and ensuring delivery of receipt.
  • Assists with the coordination of the advertising agency with opening jobs and ensuring brand elements are followed.  Assist with copywriting and editing as required.
  • Concept, design and create collateral and advertising on an on needed basis.
  • Assists with television and photo shoots by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements; establishes contacts, develops schedules and coordinates all requirements.
  • Supports marketing & advertising campaigns by assembling and preparing calendars for department organization.
  • Assembles tracking reports by compiling, formatting, and summarizing information, with graphs, and presentations.
  • Assists with monitoring and tracking budgets and processing invoices (including data entry).
  • Execute marketing campaigns using Social Media channels such as: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Work with SEO specialists to optimize site for better online visibility.
  • Work with webmaster to create online promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Create communication plan focused on increasing subscriber awareness.
  • Producing and maintaining related to sales materials, desktop publishing, newsletters, collateral, and other marketing related materials.
  • Monitor and edit website with current information.
  • Trafficking internal collateral including printing and placing.
  • Create promotional materials such as props signage, credentials and or any other communication needed to assist in the promotion.
  • Create internal signage.
  • Creating weekly e-blasts.
  • Assist in special events on and off property.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Extensive knowledge of casino marketing, gaming operations, customer relations, marketing and  promotions
  • Extensive knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be people oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Prior casino marketing experience preferred
  • Previous administrative experience/support of marketing or related department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Office/casino setting;  Required to work weekends and holidays;  On 24-hour emergency call;  Travel required
  • Standing/Walking: 60% up to 4 hours at a time; Sitting: 40%
  • Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise
  • Some light lifting and carrying required
