As Brayton Energy's first Building & Grounds Technician, you will manage, maintain, and shape our facility operations. In this role, you will establish standards and ensure the day-to-day functionality, safety, and operational performance of our facility and underlying systems. Your work will span everything from hands-on routine maintenance and build/remodel projects to directing external contractors and managing overall facility upkeep.
Responsibilities:
You will oversee the operation, general care, and upkeep of commercial facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire system. Coordinate and manage third-party vendors whenever professional repairs or maintenance are required depending on scope of work. Additional duties include leading minor construction or renovation projects, supervising on-site contractors, and handling general grounds care, such as basic landscaping, winter maintenance (salting/sanding), and moving heavy equipment or furniture.
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with at least 5+ years of related building maintenance or facility operations experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the proven ability to prioritize and multitask independently. Position requires a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the physical ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
