Description
CCI Energy and Construction Services, LLC is an SBA-certified Small and Disadvantaged Business offering Construction Services (JOC/SABER/SATOC; $1M - $30M Design Build; Select MACC/MATOC, etc), Energy Services; and Professional Services to the Federal Government throughout the lower 48, Alaska, and Hawaii. CCI Energy and Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager in Southern California, Colorado or Washington.

The Business Development Manager position is responsible for improving the Company’s market position and achieving financial growth. Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the federal construction segment, building market position by identifying new clients, and developing, negotiating, and closing business agreements sufficient to meet or exceed the company budget. The position will be nationwide with a focus on the geographic area ranging from Colorado to Southern CA up to Washington.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Identify and monitor industry and market trends
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customer and identify and develop new business partners and potential deals
• Evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and opportunities, financial considerations, evaluating options and resolving internal priorities
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions
• Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Protect and develop the organization's image my embodying professional demeanor and practice in all business dealings and reflecting the highest standards for honesty and integrity
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management or other appropriate field and with a minimum of five year of relevant experience
• A Masters in Business Administration a plus
Experience
• Demonstrated success in 8(a) business development, with the ability to anticipate funding opportunities and develop and close single and IDIQ contracts
• Demonstrated history of success closing contracts in excess of $50M+ per year
• Strong knowledge of federal construction contracting markets in all 50 states
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and professionally with the President/CEO and other senior staff to meet annual sales and profit objectives
• Must have an active and current database of federal and public works relationships to support contract closures, with an emphasis on the federal construction industry
• Must reflect high standards of honesty, integrity and reliability
• Solid platform skills, to include in-person and remote presentations, including telephone, on-line and video conferencing
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, make decisions, solve problems, and exercise good judgment
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Self-starter, requiring minimal supervision
• High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to access Federal bases
• Ability to travel frequently within the United States, up to 75%+ during peak marketing periods (January through September)
