The Residential Behavioral Health Associate (RES BHA) for the Transitional Program is primarily responsible for interaction with/supervision of adolescents with complex needs who are at risk while living in their community and are placed in level 2 residential treatment unit.
RBHA will help teach transitional age youth:
The RES BHA adheres to standards and regulations as set forth by the Agency, the state of Alaska’s Division of Behavioral Health and Division of Health Care Services, The Joint Commission and Medicaid.
The RES BHA duties are carried out in accordance with AK Child & Family policies, the AK Child & Family Mission, Core Values and AK Child & Family Philosophy of Care.
While bringing hope to troubled young lives through a broad range of mental health services. While providing vital services to adolescents you will be gaining new skills or refining old skills. As you progress and your skills improve, you will have opportunities to take on additional challenges as a Residential Behavioral Health Specialist.
